In His Hands

²³ If the LORD delights in a man’s way,
he makes his steps firm;

²⁴ though he stumble, he will not fall, 
for the LORD upholds him with his hand.

The last few weeks for me have been incredibly stressful.  Between studying for midterms, completing subchecks, and trying to stay afloat, I have grown tired and often pretty grumpy.  There are times when I just think to myself, “Is all of this stress worth it?”  I often juggle with the idea of quitting law school completely.  However, I continue to persevere because I know that God has a plan for me.  While I can never be sure if God “delights” in my way, I hope that he continues to guide me and gives me strength to continue.  No matter how tired, annoyed, or upset life can get me, it always seems as if I am given just enough to keep on going and I know this strength comes from God’s grace.  Especially in these times of stressfulness, it is important that we keep our focus on God and His love, and He will reward us in return.  We may stumble, but we will not fall for the Lord upholds us with His hand.
